Introduction
Amos’ warning was urgent. In forty years time, Israel would be destroyed. From this, it can be inferred that this time was the time when Jeroboam II, the son of Joash, ruled Israel. I remember when I visited Pastor Lin Xiangao of Guangzhou Dama Station in 1992, he said that he said ten years ago (1982) that China’s reform and opening up would not last more than forty years. This year is exactly 40 years old. Now that I think about it, I am terrified to think about it. It turns out that God has always been ahead of us.
