Introduction
Speaking of Damascus, as far as its roots are concerned, it was once the capital of the Aram Empire. And who is Aram? If you look up the genealogy in the Bible, you can know that Aram was the son of Shem, and he was still the brother of the Hebrews. The Syrians and David were contemporaries and even enemies. Of course, they were defeated by David in the end. Damascene is called Damascus today, and its original name is still used in English. It is the capital of Syria today. It is necessary to mention that when the end comes, there will be a great battle at Megiddo here. Paul’s experience of believing in the Lord took place in such an important place.
