Prayer as Jonah_Cindy Wang

Dear Lord Father,

You are my savior.

I cried out to the lord in my great trouble, Have mercy on me, O God. because of your unfailing love, because of your great compassion. Blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin.

I called to you from a difficult time, O Lord, hear me as I pray.. Listen to my cry for help, My God, for I pray for no one but you.

O God, I deeply taste the bitter of broken, Your love is always bigger. I will joyfully sing of your forgiveness and teach your ways to others, and they will return to you.

You hear my prayer and answer me.

Pray with Jesus name, Amen.

How can we connect with God? I deeply realized that we will let go of our self-importance, let go of our need to win, to be right, to be superior, to have more. When you stop needing more, more of what you desire seems to arrive. The universe has God’s energy, when I stop thinking self-importance, or let go of the need to be superior, I feel strengthened by my connection to the power of the universe.

I think Jonah followed his self-importance, to be right himself, so that’s why God warned him.

In this modern time, in this social media ocean, full of temptation, really not easy to connect with God. Myself experienced how to overcome our ego, and connect with God. Meditation is the best way and I think is the only way to listen to God, Notice how much of the inner speech

focuses on what’s missing, the negative circumstances, the past and the opinions of others. Be faithful to the God’s light that’s always there.

I pray for connecting with God always. Amen!

  1. Great prayer with faith and hold on firmly trusting He is the one and only one you can count on.
Good reflection on how to connect with God. He is the subject, and we are the object.
May God’s love and wisdom be with you always!
